Sean "Gearbox" Crosswaite, will be converting his 2004 class B Championship winning Global GT Light to the R1 power plant his year, as he endeavours to be the first driver to win class A & B tittles back to back. His outright speed and determination in 2004 brought him a well deserved title, and if he applies himself as well as last year, we are sure he will prevail yet again. Nearest competitor at present seems to be Clint Bardwell, the GHE run car, who at the end of last season seemed to come of age and could be a real threat to Crosswaite this season.

Text Box: 2005 GLOBAL GT LIGHTS DATES
27-28th March Oulton Park
9-10th April Snetterton
7-8th May Mondello Park
4-5th June Brands Hatch GP
16-17th July Silverstone
6-7th August Cadwell
20-21st August Brands Hatch
4th September Mallory
17-18th September Snetterton
8-9th October Rockingham

However, Maxspeed's latest signing of Marcus Digby, the ex super moto and motor cross rider can not be counted out. He drove Maxspeed's works car in December at the Brands Hatch open day, and was impressive, as he has never done any circuit racing in his career. His early turn of speed would indicate that with pre season testing, of which starts in February at Snetterton, it will not be long before he will be upsetting the apple cart.
